The Southwest Montana Arts Council (SMAC) advocates, nurtures, and celebrates the arts and humanities in Southwest Montana. We promote education and participation in the arts, with a particular emphasis on the needs of children throughout our region.

ArtSpace is a collaborative project of SMAC and Tendoy Fine Art Gallery. In the ArtSpace classroom, we offer a variety of creative classes and events for both adults and children, including a free monthly drop-in art activity. Our classes are taught by professional working artists, some of whom are also certified K-12 educators. We aim to provide the highest quality creative instruction, regardless of the age or skill level of the student.

Unless otherwise noted, our classes will take place at 120 N. Montana St., in the classroom between Tendoy and SMAC.

We're committed to offering a scholarship spot in each session for a student whose parents or caregivers are experiencing financial hardship due to the government shutdown or other circumstances. Please email us at dillonartspace@gmail.com for more details.
